Advantages

Event Correlation and Monitoring

Through the remote sensor data output, Openware monitors attack types, origin, sought-after targets, etc. This data is processed by the remote supervision and monitoring platform, and delivered to Openware expert staff, to control parameters and security thresholds. Processed information is made The remote supervision and management platform automatically performs an integrated vulnerability assessment and reports on the internet servers' security state. Once the assessment is finished, the client is notified and has secure access to the Web Portal. where their remote sensors' state is published, along with security policies, last received attacks, statistical graphs about attacks, attackers, attacked servers and actual and historical vulnerability assessment , for them to analyze the need for updates or modifications to their company servers. They will have quick and easy access to the open ports and different risks to which they are exposed, sorted by threat level, and complementary information accompanied by exhaustive assessment. This service is performed once every month.

Intrusion Prevention System

Blockware allows to determine and minimize attacks and intrusions. The live and dynamic ecosystem, formed by remote sensors, remote supervision/management platform, procedures and expert staff, currently allows to detect over 2000 types of server attacks. Processes for discarding false positives increase the accuracy of information regarding scans, slow attack attempts and intrusions. This functionality does not exist on any other perimeter protection device (firewall).

Secured Web Portal Access / Indicators, Statistics, Documentation

Every client of Openware's managed security services has secure access to a web portal where they can interact with our experts through our online help desk system, view remote sensor state, security polices, latest attacks, graphical statistics on attacks, attackers, attacked servers, etc.
They can also consult current and historical vulnerability assessments, view the current internet security threat level by means of an indicator developed by Openware alongside other world-class security organizations. This indicator has different states and shows the current internet threat level. Also, information on attack types per continent can be viewed, as well as IP addresses with most hacking activity, latest news and strategic and confidential information.

Automatic Upgrade of New Attack Patterns:
In the managed security service contract, new pattern supply is implicit. These upgrades enable an automatic update of registries with new attack types and worms, in order to keep the ecosystem alive when faced with new insecurities.
Confidentiality Agreement:
All of our human resources are under a confidentiality agreement which we extend to our clients when they hire our managed services.

Value-Added Services

Content Management (Outdoor)
Functionality that allows to restrict and control site access. These restrictions are based on particular sites that the client decides to revoke, or on a database that is automatically updated every day with information about sites with content such as gambling, violence, pornography, xenophobia, etc.
VPN Management (Outdoor)
Allows to manage VPNs, both dial-up and Lan to Lan. At the company's request, Openware will proceed to manage the necessary resources to implement and maintain VPN structures.
Non-Internet Server Vulnerability Assessment
Just like the integrated assessment service for internet servers, this add-on allows to assess the client's internal network servers online.
Number and Type of Vulnerability Assessment
Allows to increase the number of integrated vulnerability assessments on client's demand. In the standard service, a monthly assessment is provided. Clients who need a high security level or who constantly change their server infrastructure can request an on-demand vulnerability assessment, or schedule an increased frequency: daily, weekly, bimonthly.
Counterattack
Additional module that allows automatic notification of the use and misuse of our client's servers to the internet provider where the attacker resides. This procedure can be triggered when a certain security threshold is exceeded, or at Openware's experts decision. The objective is to warn ISPs about their clients' hacking activities, so ISPs can take corrective and/or punitive action.
24/7 Remote Sensor Part Replacement
For companies with a high-quality service level, we have a 24/7 remote sensor part replacement service available.
